Rockland Home Staging

Fasten your seatbelt, you are now leaving 1970

Many of the homes in Rockland County NY were built in the late 1960's and early 1970's and have not been updated since. Thes homes are often characterized by dark paneling, velvet couches, matching custom window treatments and brass fixtures. While these furnishings may have been perfect for the 70's they hold no appeal for today's young buyers.

Sometimes all it takes is a coat of paint, a slip cover and a few throw pillows to update this look of the home. This home was transformed for under $400.00. These simple inexpensive changes have brought this home into the 21st century.

Home staging does not need to be expensive to create dramatic results. At Rockland Home Staging we will work within your budget. in most cases we can work with things you already own to create a look that will appeal to a broader range of home buyers.

Call Rockland Home Staging today to take the guesswork out of getting your home ready for sale.  (845)731-9510.

Very nice.  It is so bright and airy.  I'm sure the homeowners were very happy with it.  Great job.

Oh my... so much better!  The fireplace is so beautiful, it's a shame it was hiding with all that paneling!

The budget on this project was extremely limited. The only things I purchased were the slip covers and 4 throw pillows. We had to work with the existing accessories and artwork. Hopefully it will sell quickly. : )

Maureen - Staging certainly make big difference.  I too see many homes from the 60's and 70's that could use a makeover

Jennifer - Where I live all the homes were built within that time period. There is almost no new construction as there is no more available land. It definitely is a different type of staging than most people specialize in. My business falls somewhere between staging and rehab.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Great to see you back Maureen. Wow... the '60s and 70's were the dark ages... yikes!  This is the perfect example of how just a little staging talent can really show the home.

It's wonderful what you can do with paint and a few good accessories.   Proves that the seller doesn't have to be rich to have their home staged.

Great job
